Since we have taken a closer look at breaking the normal bow tie boundaries, let’s make our own boundaries.
When I was thinking through how I would style my own personal versions of the Brackish bow tie I definitely wanted to use a good trouser.
For me finding good suiting pants is a challenge because I have a 35 inch inseam, AKA I’m a freak.
These pants were insanely expensive so I hope Chris doesn’t press the detail buttons on this LEWK. I found them on Revolve, ordered them and prayed they didn’t fit so I could send them back.
As you can see the devil laid his hand on that box and my credit card, because my ass sho the hell is wearing them in these pictures.
I kept them because they fit. They fit me perfectly. The heel I have on in this picture is a tad too tall for them so I typically wear a shorter one because I like them to graze the ground as I walk…like kiss the top of my toe nails.
I have maybe 5 pair of suit pants that fit me with the proper length, so as long as I take care of these I plan on making that price point worth it.
I paired this cute little chain metal purse to accent the buckle closure at the waist.
I styled a see through lace button down to add a twist of sex appeal with the masculinity of the high waisted pant.
Depending on the occasion you could easily layer a black blazer and still capture a sophisticated edgy lewk.
I could not find this exact bow tie on the website so I have listed similar ones and also similar shirts.
So it was at this point of going through my pictures that I realized I should’ve just started an Instagram account for Otis instead of being a fashion blogger.
HE IS THE BEST.
One last LEWK so let’s go out with a bang.
I styled my shirt dress with a black sash cummerbund style belt.
However, an even BETTER pairing would be a black shirt dress with a bow tie and matching feather cummerbund set from Brackish. And THAT is sure to be a holiday ensemble that no one will have or forget!!
Let’s go into this Holiday Season thinking outside the box and breaking boundaries.
