It is incredibly rare that beauty items go on sale, especially the prestige brands. When I see the occasional 20% off email notification from Sephora and Ulta I immediately take inventory of what items I am in need of or may need soon. However, I learned last year that Belk has a beauty event as well where they offer 15% off for a few days. This year the sale is October 19th -21st, excluding Chanel. The exclusions do not specify if this is in store and online, I even called to verify and couldn’t get a direct answer so I’ll keep checking the website for details! I received notification of the sale via a promo paper in the mail but, you do not have to have the mailer with you to receive the discount, they will scan a barcode at the counter for you. (I verified that! Smart blonde moments exist!)
If you’re anything like me my small makeup bag essentials has grown into a small army of makeup weaponry. Dry skin? Let me use this! Matte finish? Ok that means I’ll use that! Dewy finish but not too glowy so I don’t look like I’m sweating in pictures? No problem, just use 7 of these different things! I mean WTF have we done to ourselves?! I’m pretty sure I didn’t start filling in my eyebrows until half way through college! Despite all my pageant makeup tutorials I only filled them in for stage and dance competitions. Did people wonder they went on the days I didn’t fill them in? Did they think I had lost them? I was basically walking around campus looking like Powder. Remember that movie?! Google image search and have a laugh on me, because yes, that is in fact what I looked like.
I decided to gather my top ten go to beauty products I purchase at Belk, my non-negotiables, that I love and use on a daily basis! Belk carries way more brands than I remember! I’ve created a list of them for your reference below, which are included in the sale! I know we are barely to Halloween but I will say this is also a good time to get beauty gift sets for Christmas! I have already seen them out at Ulta and I know they do sell out by the time I usually go Christmas shopping. I have two teenage step-daughters that are so hard to shop for sometimes and these sets always save the day for stockings.

This is a one time purchase situation and you have to have the code present so check your email, sign up for the email, send the Batman signal, do whatever you need to do to get the coupon!
